I used to do these bold things with color
arching across the page
blending and playing with boundaries
smudging seams
of things

background / foreground
I couldn't prioritize them.

Relationships aren't as blurry now
and I create less
but I'm O.K., I think -
With what I have.
With what I've defined for myself.

Interesting! You mention colours in the first paragraph and I feel the second one ("background / foreground
I couldn't prioritize them.") could do with being extended, maybe you could play on description of shapes and colours, of your views of past works... What you have retrieved from the experience and what has come out to light now you have a different outlook on them, I feel that would tie in with the last paragraph ("Relationships aren't as blurry now").

Looking forward to read more. :)
