It scanned a little crooked, but it's the best I could do.

A drawing of my Grandma Marie. I miss her. She loved pinwheels and miniature roses. :)

The bright colors of the flowers do well in conveying her personality.

That's a really sweet tribute. You have given her a child-like look that I am inclined to interpret as a youthful nature to her. Was she young at heart? I love how colourful it looks, sign of a much loved and missed person and the absence of their love is deeply felt but greatly appreciated too. This is a beautiful portrait of a beautiful person, it makes me wish I'd known her. You are very lucky to have had her as your grandmother.

She was very young when she passed... she hadn't reached 60 yet. She was very young when my mom was born, and my mom was in her early 20's when I was born. I was almost 15 then. She aged very well, too. I think she was one of the most beautiful women ever. My mom looks a lot like her.
I do miss her a lot, and sometimes am just compelled to think of her and what she was like.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness. I really appreciate it, as she was very very dear to me.
